Stew and deck crew member
Ahoy! I’ve completed 9 volunteer and 3 paid crew adventures around the Mediterranean since May 2022, intermittently between working in my career as an Event Manager in Australia, and Film & TV professional in the UK.
I have gained some experience to assist with lines, sails, knots, anchoring, Med mooring and of course entering and exiting marinas. I can cook, clean, take care of admin (be your ‘PA’), and I’m told I’m good company. I am also a competent caretaker for vessels when owners need to return home to their lives and need someone responsible left in charge.
My adventures have taken me throughout Greece, Croatia, Italy, Malta, Turkey and Cypress, aboard sailing boats, catamaran and motor yacht vessels.
A little more about me… I am a fit, educated, respectable and worldly, 43 year old who is single and without dependants. I am not a broke backpacker, and I’m not here to party. I do these experiences for the adventure of exploring new places and meeting great people. I am open to a fair exchange of help and friendship aboard your vessel.
In 2026 I’d really love a crew experience which might include the opportunity for learning a water sport, like kite surfing, or foil riding, or surfing. I am open to going anywhere. Currently in the USA, but I travel a lot and love a new adventure in a new place!
