Couple Looking for Crew position
Hello fellow sailor.
We’re a reliable, capable sailing couple looking for opportunities to sail, contribute properly on board, and continue building our skills and mileage.
Between us we have good offshore and coastal experience, including ocean crossings and night watches. Nathan has more experience overall, including skippering, strong practical skills on board, and around 4,000nm. I have around 2,000nm, I’m pragmatic and organised, and I’m a very good cook.
We’re calm, responsible, and easy to live with. We respect the boat, the skipper’s way of doing things, and the rhythm of life at sea. We enjoy good company, shared meals, board games, and conversation — while keeping safety and seamanship the priority.
We’re keen to keep learning, sailing in different conditions, and being genuinely useful crew.

One of my best crews ever
Ligia and her partner joined me in May and June 2024 to sail from New Zealand to Fiji, a trip of roughly 1500nm on a 50ft catamaran . We had some fairly rough conditions at time but could enjoy fast reaching for most of the trip, Ligia did not have a lot of sailing experience when she came on board but she was very eager to learn all aspects of passage making and made an excellent crew. Not only did she participate in all kind of manoeuvres but also ran solo night watches . Apart from participating in sailing she put a lot of effort into keeping the boat tidy. She is a good cook and a very active person with many talents and fun to spend time with. We had a very good time together having good and interesting discussions. Horst La Medianoche
