Mechanical engineer looking for 2nd engineer, sole engineer or Deck/engineer positions
I am a qualified, hands on and highly motivated marine engineer with a 5 year degree in Mechanical Engineering, AEC 1 & 2 certifications, powerboat level II, ENG1 and seaman's discharge book. My background includes extensive shipyard experience, planned maintenance, hydraulic systems, generator rebuilds, blackwater treatment systems, electrics and electronics and technical troubleshooting.
I am currently working toward my EOOW via the Small Vessel (SV) route and am actively seeking opportunities that support this goal, particularly through dynamic, hands-on engineering environments.
I enjoy being part of technical refits and thrive in collaborative environments that value initiative and problem-solving. I speak fluent English, French, and Spanish, and having lived aboard for over a decade, I’m deeply comfortable with the rhythm and demands of life at sea.
I bring a strong work ethic, curiosity, adaptability, and a proactive attitude to every role—and I’m eager to grow within a supportive, well-run engineering team.

Hardworking team
I had Angelique as crew on my trimaran. She knows her way around boats and is proactive and capable. She has good mechanical skills and is able to work independently in many different kinds of projects. She run power cables, hard wired my inventer, and even fixed a seized windlass on top of various other projects. She is also proactive in everyday tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and organizing.Together with Anton, they make a trustworthy, reliable team. I would definitely recommend them
