Looking for Racing crew or Mile building position
Hello potential Skippers,
My name is Sean and I am looking for opportunities to join a competitive race crew or assist with race return deliveries in the PNW. I have work with various races crews on boat that range from 27-42 feet and have taken on various positions from running the foredeck and flying symmetrical spinnakers to sail trimming, and working the pit.
I have over 1000 NM of sailing experience mixed between racing/crusing/deliveries, all in coast/offshore waters.
I recently helped with the delivery of a 72ft ex-challange race yatch from Cadiz, Spain to Cardiff, Wales. This involved over 20 hours of night watch, and time spent on the helem during both day and night watches.
I hold a valid PCOC and ROC-M, and have completed the CPS Beyond Boating Basics and Intro to Coastal navigation courses, and continue to assist as a proctor with other CPS programs. I have completed the Quicker Crew and Spinnaker school programs through Sea to Sky sailing school in West Vancouver and I am working towards my RYA Yatchmaster Costal Certification.
I completed my Safety at Sea - Personal Offshore Survival Course in Nov. 2023, valid for 5 years.
