Competent Crew loves teaching and learning and all things on/in the sea
I was a school teacher, then a sports coach and tutor now I'm keen to go adventuring and hopefully bring some of my watersports gear.
Useful skills I can bring: very relaxed and easy going, love learning (and teaching), can cook, know my way around a boat, energetic.
I have done many different things including...
Learning French as an Au Pair,
competing in the world hanggliding championships,
windsurfing across the Cook Strait,
achieving BA with post grad diploma in primary teaching,
built a house (including plumbing and electrics),
volunteer as a medic with St John for many years,
Essentially I'm a problem solver at heart who loves helping others.
