Cruising Gulf of Thailand
Updated May 2019
Ahoy and Welcome aboard!
I am the owner and Master of the beautiful and luxurious Pirate Ship ‘Bindy Too', a 44 foot steel sailing ship currently in the Gulf of Thailand.
I am always on the lookout for potential crew to join in the adventure, ideally people who are personable, respectful, reasonably physically fit and pleasant smelling: whilst a sense of humour is a must and ability to follow orders a given, drawing, dancing, singing and entertaining skills would be a definite bonus.
There is a substantial cost to running a cruising yacht, ask any Captain, and one of the reasons I take on crew is to mitigate some of those costs.
The cost is US$250 per week, this includes food and grog rations and a complimentary Crew T Shirt.
Duties will include general domestic chores such as helping with cooking and cleaning, ship maintenance, laughing at the Captains' jokes and of course helping to sail the ship; experience is not essential as full training will be given but the ability to catch and prepare seafood, tie knots, swab decks, climb masts, swing a cutlass and laugh in the face of adversity is always useful and most appreciated.
When off duty, crew are encouraged to use the facilities on board, there is diving and snorkelling equipment, a kayak, fishing gear, movies, books and ample space to just kick back and relax.
If you think you might be interested in joining me somewhere along the way, drop me a line and we can discuss in more detail.
Thanks for reading.
