East Greenland coast summer 2021

https://www.aszulexpeditions.com
We finally decided to postpone our sailing in E greenland to 2021, leaving and coming back in Iceland, avoiding any contact with the Inuit communities.

Sail with us for two or three weeks during the 2021 Season, exploring the wild beauty of Arctic Eastern Greenland.

Voyage cost € 5,100.00 per trip per person ;
Duration is between 12 - 22 days, total distance to sail 500 Nm ;

We will sail from Isafjordur, Iceland to the breathtakingly beautiful and ruggedly remote coastline of East Groenland. After a 30h passage across the Denmark Strait, we will explore for the rugged and iceberg filled Coast in East Greenland, admiring marine mammals, birds and polar foxes.
Then we will sail back towards Isafjordur, our homeport.

Our moving home during this trip is GRYNING, a Baltic 55 of 1989. She was built strong in Finland. She is very seaworthy and can sail quite fast. Yet she also has style and comfort: Permanent heating, three heads; quality beds and linens; brilliant brightwork; ambient lighting; high quality cookware; and many other amenities make her delightful.

Our philosophy is that a boat is a tool, and not a goal in itself. This is why we fully commit to the exploration spirit during this trip.
There will be absolutely no marinas and harbours on our way, only plenty of space for our dreams of adventure, peace, harmony and the sense of being part of the natural world.

Please have a look on our webpage for more details.
Departure confirmed with 2 crew members, up to 6 crew onboard.

I sail with a professionnal and skilled 1st mate (already hired), for safety and comfort.

Thanks for your interest
Stephane

Excellent Captain, Incredible Company

I stayed with Stephane for about a month in 2018. He welcomed me onto his boat and treated me like family. Working with him was a genuine pleasure, and his passion for sailing and the sea is contagious. I would highly recommend a trip with him and the Grynning to any person wishing to get out on the water.
