Looking for a Competent Crew position (recreational - offshore)
In a few words, I'm 62 yo, french nationality, still in a good shape both physically and mentally!
Former owner/skipper of a Cigale 16 (54 ft alu sloop), I sailed across the Atlantic from Antibes to Martinique some years ago, but work commitments prevented me from sailing back. Some friends took it to bring the ship back to Europe, which understandably left me feeling quite frustrated! Any atlantic sailing west to east offer sounds a fantastic opportunity to finally live it, but also really interested in any other long distance sailing trip.

My pro backgroundI was managing companies during 25 years in France/Belgium/Northern Europe. Now based in Montpellier (France), I work as a freelance business consultant for a couple of years, which gives me an increasing freedom and opportunities to take long sailing trips. Short cruises don't really attract me anymore, I much rather look for long-distance sailings, pleasure of the real sea life and pleasure of building up genuine human connections within a crew, meeting new people and unknown situation have always been in my DNA.
I'm very sociable, easygoing, calm, serious and reliable, team spirit, experienced offshore, meaning night watches, sails settings, steering, deck works and all kind of task onboard.
I don't drink alcohol neither doesn't smoke.
French is my native language, english was my business tongue for roughly 20 years.
Easily awailable with some reasonable delay for organising flights to join you somewhere.
