Hoping to learn the ropes
Seeking adventures... new skills, friends & horizons.
Currently studying in Thailand, but as of August ‘26 I am returning to UK hoping to add to my sailing log & crew experience thereafter.
I enjoy an occasional drink, I don’t smoke. Drugs are not my scene. I eat meat, and fish, have no allergies ailments or disabilities.
I’ve some skills to bring to crewing & learning opportunities. At the moment, that’s mainly home/family cooking, cleaning & DIY... practiced aplenty over the past 25 years! Basic First Aid training and radio use have been part of my job for years, not squeamish, calm under pressure. Also confident with sewing, embroidery & upholstery.
I can be animated or quiet company,
equally comfortable following directions or making them, working solo or as a team.
Did a little sailing a long time ago & loved it, a trip on the SS Arethusa & a week on an RYA course are cherished highlights of my childhood. Loved the peace of a day kayaking on holiday a few years ago then taking RYA Competent Crew course in 2018 just confirmed I still love it. Sailing and a love of being on the water feels like it isn’t so much a choice, as a part of me.
If you think I might fit in your crew, get in touch!
