Available to work as deckhand from 6 August to 10 September 2023. I am open to any suggestion and any destination. I spent my gap year working at sea around the world: first fishing crab in the Barents Sea, then day charters in the Caribbean and finally an Atlantic crossing back to Europe. I am now a student in Marine Engineering and Naval Architecture in Italy.

Marco is an intelligent and flexible personallity. Marco sailed with me from St Maarten to The Azores as crew on deck and did a good job. Marco wants to help with almost everything and is doing it good like handling the sails, cooking and at the helm. Marco is very interested in Navigating, Celestical navigation and weather systems. Marco has extra attention for fishing and preparing pasta. Marco is optimistic and a very social crew member who starts the watch with a big smile when he enters the cockpit.

Great to have onboard
Marco and his friend Alessandro were onboard a voyage from Palma Mallorca to San Vito in Sicily, 590 nm, 15 days. They were both a super addition to the crew, with a very positive attitude. Marco is a great cook, and we had lots of pasta. Also a keen sailor and always willing to take on different crew functions onbord. A pleasure to have onboard - highly recommended!
