Great captain, very experienced.
We sailed with Augusto from La Coruna, Spain, through Portugal, till Punta Umbria, Spain, August and September 2024. He is a great captain, very experienced in the sea and respectful to the others and to the boat. I had a great time with him and the other crew on the boat. We were on a 69-foot wooden ketch, Blue Trout. Amazing ship, but with big sails and all manual work. Augusto is easy-going, very tolerant and easy to get along with. But he acts like a tiger in critical situations, very fast, efficient and resolves all issues immediately. Most of the time we had great weather, but I was feeling very secure with him leading the crew. Fair winds and following seas!
